One of the names that has been linked to a lot of clubs this summer is Fermin Lopez. The Barcelona midfielder, despite having a profile that is valued by Hansi Flick, has been consistently linked to various clubs. Notably, he has been linked to various Premier League clubs.

From being linked to Manchester United to even other teams like Chelsea, Lopez has been quite relevant in terms of transfer rumours linked to the Premier League especially. However, it would appear that the player has no plans to leave.

According to Fichajes, the 22-year-old Barça midfield star has no intention of leaving the club this summer. In fact, he has already reportedly told his agents and representatives to not entertain any transfer offers that come his way.

Despite being sought-after in the market and knowing that there will be a lot of competition at the club in terms of midfielders, Lopez wants to continue fighting for a place. As such, he will likely be a player to keep an eye on next season.

However, one player who could prove to be a real challenge for Lopez next season is Gavi. The 21-year-old Spanish midfielder’s impressive preseason performances so far have been brilliant, and Gavi will certainly be a strong challenger for one of the midfield spots if he keeps this up as well.
