While making some high-profile signings to strengthen their team for the upcoming season, FC Barcelona are also keeping an eye on the distant future. This is clear from the way they are being linked with some highly promising talents from throughout the world.
But as things stand, the one player who is seemingly closest to joining them is the Swedish forward Roony Bardghji, for whom the Catalans have reportedly already reached an agreement with FC Copenhagen and who is expected to sign for them in July.
Barcelona looking to send Roony Bardghji on loan after his signing
However, according to a report from Fichajes, the player might not be available to play under Hansi Flick next season, as Barcelona have decided to send him on loan after completing his signing, and three La Liga teams have already shown interest in getting him on a temporary basis. These three teams are Mallorca, Sevilla, and Real Betis.
The Blaugranes are clear that Bardghji needs more playing time and experience in a top league before he can play for their first team, and this would not be possible if he is incorporated into their reserve team, something they were previously planning.
Mallorca, Sevilla, and Betis interested
Among the three interested clubs, Mallorca is seemingly the most keen to get the player. They consider Bardghji a very exciting addition to their attack, and can also consider another Barcelona midfielder to bolster their attack, i.e., Pablo Torre.
Meanwhile, Sevilla and Real Betis are both keeping an eye on the young talent emerging in the market, and have expressed their willingness to enter the bidding for the loan of the young forward.
However, the final decision in this regard will be made by Hansi Flick, who will assess the needs and situation of his squad before allowing for the departure of any player. Thus, for now, it remains to be seen where Roony Bardghji will be playing next season, even if his move to Barcelona is finalized.
