FC Barcelona are going to face Atletico Madrid for the 5th time this season when they take to the field for the first leg of the UEFA Champions League quarter-final tonight, on Wednesday.

Even after this fifth battle, the Blaugranes will have to face the Colchoneros once again this season, and that too only next week, in the second leg of the tie. However, there are several players who can miss this second leg if they get a yellow card tonight.

In fact, Mundo Deportivo reports that there are 11 such players in total, 7 for Atletico Madrid and 4 for Barcelona. For the Colchonero side, Thiago Almada, Robin Le Normand, Clement Lenglet, Marcos Llorente, Marc Pubill, Matteo Ruggeri, and Giuliano Simeone are all only a single yellow card away from suspension.

Pablo Barrios is also in this list, but being injured means he is not at risk of getting a yellow tonight. Similarly, Diego Simeone himself can be suspended for the second leg if he is cautioned.

Meanwhile, the four Blaugrana players are Lamine Yamal, Fermin Lopez, Gerard Martin, and Marc  Casado. The former three are all starters, while Casado is almost important, especially with the injuries suffered by Frenkie de Jong and Marc Bernal.

Hopefully, none of these players will have to miss the second leg with a suspension to ensure the spectators get to see Barcelona and Atletico Madrid fight it out with full vigor.
