FC Barcelona are having an amazing 2024-25 season in which they are still competing for all the big titles and can win one of these titles tonight as they face Real Madrid in the Copa del Rey final.

One aspect of their incredible performances in all the competitions is that several of their players are being seen as candidates for the next Ballon d’Or award.

This is particularly true for the Brazilian winger Raphinha, who has scored 30 goals and provided 23 assists so far this season.

Meanwhile, his performances also continue to attract the attention of other clubs from across the world, with the Saudi club Al-Hilal remaining one of the sides most strongly linked with him.

In this regard, a report from Fichajes claims that the Saudis are looking to add another big international name to their squad, and Raphinha remains their primary target, particularly after they failed to convince Vinicius Junior to join them.

Now, the Saudi side is ready to break the bank for the Barcelona star, and the report claims that they are willing to offer €100 million in transfer fee and a salary package that can total up to €200 million spread over the four years of the contract that they want to offer the Brazilian, thus making him one of the highest paid players in the world.

Meanwhile, the Blaugranes are also looking to ensure the long-term continuity of the Samba star in their ranks, and have already started negotiations for this purpose, despite there still being two years left on his contract.

The two sides are facing significant differences in this early phase of negotiations, but still, it is highly unlikely that Raphinha will leave Barcelona to play in Saudi Arabia, especially as his chances of winning the big trophies are now quite high with Hansi Flick in charge.
