Following their elimination from the UEFA Champions League, FC Barcelona have only the La Liga title left to contest, and they are the favorites to win it as they enjoy a 9-point advantage over the second-placed Real Madrid.

The Catalan side will return to league action on Wednesday night against Celta Vigo at the Spotify Camp Nou, with Hansi Flick’s team continuing their preparations at the Ciutat Esportiva Joan Gamper on Monday in the penultimate training session before the match.

Flick was able to work with almost the entire first team squad, although three players remained unavailable. Andreas Christensen and Raphinha continue their respective recovery programmes away from the group and are ruled out for the Celta clash.

Marc Bernal was also absent from training as he continues to recover from a sprained left ankle. According to Mundo Deportivo, the midfielder did not train with the squad again on Monday, which makes him a serious doubt for the upcoming fixture.

His availability will likely depend on whether he is able to complete the final training session on Tuesday, although at this stage his involvement remains unlikely.

On a more positive note, Fermin Lopez has returned to full training with the group after recovering from the heavy facial knock sustained in the Champions League quarter-final second leg. The midfielder even trained while wearing a protective mask and is expected to be available for selection against Celta Vigo.

Unlike previous sessions, Flick did not call up any players from Barcelona Atlètic, as the reserve team continues its own push for a playoff promotion spot, leading the coach to rely solely on first-team personnel.
