It is no secret that FC Barcelona is working on various exit operations in the final days of the summer transfer window. Exits could enable the club to register pending players, and it would give Barça some extra breathing room. For that reason, certain names remain linked to exits in these final days of the transfer window.

One such player is Hector Fort, and the 19-year-old defender seems likely to leave this summer. However, unlike other cases such as that of Marc Casado for instance, Fort’s departure is dependent on it being a loan deal rather than a permanent transfer.

As of right now, according to SPORT, the most likely destination for the player appears to be Premier League side West Ham United. Once they can make room for the player, the English side is willing to finalise a loan operation as soon as possible. While other clubs remain interested as well, the London-based side appears to be leading the race for now.

The player’s primary objective is to temporarily leave on loan and return to the club as soon as possible. Moreover, the report claims that the move could offer a wage increase for the player and more opportunities in terms of minutes, and that is something that Fort is not completely opposed to. As for Barça, it is an operation that the club is looking to finalise and sort out as soon as possible too.

While other clubs remain interested in the player as well, West Ham United appears to be the most likely destination for the player as of right now. Moreover, with Marc Casado also reportedly attracting a lot of suitors, these final days of the transfer window could prove to be interesting.
