Joan Garcia talks about his experience of being Barcelona’s goalkeeper after his La Liga debut for the club.
He said:
“The Barça goalkeeper has to be attentive to many things; obviously, with two players missing, they don’t have as much access. I’m very happy. I was very calm about the registration.”
Joan Garcia has reassured that the blow he took to his finger during the warmup was nothing serious. He said:
“The finger issue was a scare during the warm-up, nothing serious.”

Hansi Flick’s team get off to the perfect start in their La Liga title defence with a 3-0 win over Mallorca in rather controversial circumstances. Regardless, it counts as 3 points.

Salas comes on for an exhausted Darder.
With Jules Kounde coming on, he has taken his right-back spot with Eric moving to left center-back. Barcelona are playing without a recognized striker at the moment, with different players, including Olmo and Gavi, occupying that position from time to time.
Jules Kounde comes on for Raphinha
How have Barcelona not added to the 2 goals??
We are into the second-half cooling break, and it is baffling that Flick’s men have scored just 2 goals so far…
Jofre produces a wild cross after patient build-up from Barcelona. Not the best first impression, champ!
Barcelona continue to hammer down the wall as Raphinha comes close – just WIDE!!
Eric makes an excellent run into the box and is found perfectly by Frenkie de Jong. His header goes straight into Roman’s gloves though.
Dani Olmo hits the framework after a good cross from Raphinha. SO CLOSE!!!!
Jofre, Gavi and Rashford come on for Balde, Cubarsi and Ferran. FDJ likely to drop into defence.
Cubarsi seems fine to continue.
Jules Kounde, Gavi and Marcus Rashford are getting ready to come on for Barcelona
Cubarsi goes down after a clash of heads with a Mallorca player. Both players are down with treatment being given by the respective set of physios.
Hopefully nothing serious.
Ferran tees up Raphinha but the Brazilian puts the ball just wide. Barcelona continue to knock on the door.
Flurry of chances for Barcelona but Leo Roman somehow keeps Dani Olmo’s looped header from going in
Mallorca are awarded a free-kick in a dangerous position. Nothing comes off it though.
