There is never a day without drama or news when it comes to FC Barcelona. Even today, the club reportedly continues to plan ahead for the future as they look to assemble a squad that can continue to compete for the years to come.

In the latest update Fichajes, it is being said that Barça will look to sign two Bayern Munich stars in the summer of 2026. One of these players is a world-renowned striker, and another is a defensive player who could arrive as a free transfer.

The first name being mentioned is that of 32-year-old English forward Harry Kane. Considering his age, Barça believe they might have a shot at finalising his signing for around €50 million. Moreover, the Catalan giants believe the Englishman could be an immediate replacement for Robert Lewandowski.

Dayot Upamecano, however, is the other name being mentioned. The French defender’s contract is set to expire in 2026 and Barça want to take advantage of this situation if he does not end up renewing his deal. Moreover, considering the fact that he is still just 26 years old, he could be a good signing for the future.

With both players being affordable, this could be a good market opportunity for the Catalan giants. However, considering Bayern Munich’s habit of not letting players go easily, these operations could be something that Barcelona will need to be extra cautious about.
