FC Barcelona have been dealing with a challenging financial situation for several years, yet the current administration led by Joan Laporta has made significant progress in improving the club’s economic health.

As part of these efforts, the Catalan giants have continued to secure new sponsorship agreements in recent weeks.

Among them is a deal with the Chinese appliance manufacturer Midea, valued at around €12m per season, and another partnership with the Democratic Republic of the Congo worth approximately €40m in exchange for advertising on the training kit until 2029.

Additionally, Barcelona recently renewed their partnership with Spotify, a deal announced last Friday that will generate around €380m for the club between 2026 and 2030, along with a further €80m extending to 2034.

Now, another major brand is set to join Barcelona’s list of commercial partners. According to Mundo Deportivo, the mobility company Uber will sign a sponsorship agreement with the Catalan club on Wednesday.

The signing ceremony will take place in the club’s commercial hall at 4:30 p.m. Attending the event will be Barcelona defender Pau Cubarsi, who previously used Uber cars to travel to training sessions before obtaining his driving license.

Also present will be Manel del Rio, the club’s general director, and Felipe Fernandez Aramburu, the general director of Uber Iberia.

Hopefully, this new partnership will prove to be fruitful for FC Barcelona and will inject some much-needed cash into the club’s coffers.
