The primary objective for FC Barcelona this summer is to resolve their financial situation as much as possible. So far this summer, the club has been greatly hindered in terms of its ability to operate in the market. Moving forward, Barcelona are looking to change that.

However, constant setbacks are still in the way and causing the club a lot of issues. From the new problems related to the Joan Gamper trophy to the internal concerns that the club now has with Marc-Andre Ter Stegen, very little is going the way that the Catalan side would have ideally preferred for it to play out.

Yet, a man who rarely seems optimistic about Barcelona recently provided some comfort in regards to the club’s situation. La Liga president Javier Tebas, during a recent event, was asked to comment on the situation at Barcelona.

As quoted by Mundo Deportivo, the league president stated that the Catalan club has to make things work out and that he had not been directly involved in matters related to player registrations recently:

“That’s up to Barcelona. I haven’t been directly involved these past few days—this is a matter for the league’s financial control team, and they know what’s going on.”

He proceeded to give out a reminder that the official La Liga website showcases the players that are registered:

“We have a public website where registrations are posted. If a player isn’t showing up, it means either the registration is pending or the full data hasn’t been provided yet.”

A rather positive response from the league president

However, he ultimately did end up saying that he was not too worried about Barcelona this particular season, and that might as well be an implication that the club could resolve their issues soon:

“I’m not too worried about Barcelona this season, to be honest.”

However, the Catalan giants must figure out their issues as soon as possible. If the club is truly serious about giving Hansi Flick what he wants this summer, La Blaugrana will need to address their ongoing problems and find a viable solution quickly.
