Several big names in European football are facing quite uncertain futures as the 2025-26 season approaches its end, and some of these names are also being linked with FC Barcelona.
This is particularly the case with the Manchester City playmaker Bernardo Silva, who will be out of contract at the end of the season, and it is virtually confirmed that he will not continue at the Premier League side beyond the current campaign.
The Portuguese star is clear that he still wants to continue playing at the highest level in Europe, and ideally wants to join Barcelona. However, his age and the financial problems of the Blaugrana entity make such an operation very difficult.
In such a scenario, SPORT reports that Silva’s agent, Jorge Mendes, is still working to ensure his player gets his desired outcome.
Meanwhile, Deco has still not closed his planning for the upcoming summer transfer window, and the futures of several forwards in the current Barcelona squad, including Robert Lewandowski, Marcus Rashford, Roony Bardghji, and Ferran Torres, are not too certain.
This opens up an avenue of hope for Bernardo Silva to continue dreaming of Barcelona, and with Jorge Mendes leading the operation, one cannot rule out anything.
