Although Hansi Flick and Deco are clear that only a minimal change will occur in the core of the FC Barcelona team, there are still several changes expected to take place in the Blaugrana squad for the 2025-26 season.

There are going to be some new additions, with the goalkeeper Joan Garcia already signed, and Nico Williams also close to signing for the Catalan side.

On the other hand, several players are also expected to leave Barcelona this summer, either to help the Blaugrana club meet their FFP needs or to continue developing by getting regular playing time in less competitive clubs.

One player who falls in the latter category is the midfielder Pablo Torre, in whose talent the Catalan club still believes, but who is not expected to play a prominent part in Hansi Flick’s plans for the next season.

Luckily, there are some interesting teams that are interested in getting the Spanish midfielder. The journalist Matteo Moretto has provided an update on his situation, and claims that the Eredivisie giants Ajax have pushed to sign Torre recently, but still, the La Liga side Mallorca is confident of finalizing the deal.

Midfielder’s final approval expected in the coming days

Meanwhile, other La Liga sides are also showing an interest in the midfielder. The player’s final approval to any of these sides is expected to come in the coming few days.

Although Mallorca and Barcelona have not yet agreed upon the final figures of the deal, it is expected that the deal will be closed between €4-6 million. The Balearic team will get only 50% rights on the player.

Whichever side Pablo Torre ultimately joins, hopefully, he will take full advantage of the situation and showcase his talent. After that, it remains to be seen whether he will be able to return and succeed at Barcelona.
