FC Barcelona are set to face RCD Espanyol in their first game of 2026, and both of these sides will be keen to get a win over such a hated rival to kick-start their new year.

As a result, the fans can expect to see a lot of action from this game. Another factor that would enhance the quality of this match would be the fact that Hansi Flick would be able to count on almost a full squad.

FC Barcelona have announced their squad for this game, and although he trained with the rest of the team in recent days, the defender Ronald Araujo has not been named in this list. Thus, he joins the long-term absences of Gavi and Andreas Christensen in the list of players unavailable for this game.

On the other hand, the likes of Pedri, Jules Kounde, Dani Olmo, and Lamine Yamal have all been named in this squad list and will be available to Flick to take on Espanyol tonight.
