FC Barcelona have now officially confirmed that the preseason tour to Japan is back on after its previous cancellation. The Catalan giants will fly to Asia today and are expected to play against Vissel Kobe on the 27th of July. For Hansi Flick, this will be a great opportunity to test out his Barcelona squad.

However, the German coach ultimately decided to take only 30 players with him for this tour. The squad, moreover, comprises of a mix of first team regulars, new signings, and even young faces who are eager to prove themselves and make a name for themselves in the squad.

Now, as officially confirmed by Barcelona, the 30-man squad that is travelling to Asia has been announced as well.

Beyond the absence of Marc-Andre Ter Stegen due to his decision to undergo surgery, there are no notable absences from the squad. All the regulars are there, but the inclusion of the youngsters is a great sight to see.

The two Fernandez cousins, Guille and Toni, are both travelling with the team. Moreover, even the impressive Pedro ‘Dro’ Fernandez has been included as well after catching Flick’s eye. Similarly, the club’s latest summer signing, Marcus Rashford, is accompanied by other new arrivals such as Roony Bardghji and Joan Garcia.

Furthermore, Marc Bernal and Marc Casado have also returned to the squad and seem to have recovered well from their respective injuries. As to whether they will immediately be able to play or not, that decision lies with the club and the coaching staff to sort out moving forward.
