Following a 3-3 draw with Inter Milan in a highly pulsating first leg of the UEFA Champions League semi-final, FC Barcelona are set to return to action in La Liga with a match against Real Valladolid.

Although this match is important for the Blaugranes, considering the only four-point difference between them and Real Madrid at the top of the La Liga table, they will still have an eye on the second leg of the UCL tie against the Italians.

Thus, Hansi Flick is expected to put in a heavily rotated side for this game. Still, as he indicated in the press conference yesterday, the German tactician has still called up all of his available players for this game.

The squad list for this game is already published, and one of the surprises is the absence of the midfielder Pablo Torre, who was expected to get some minutes in this match after not getting even a single minute on the pitch in the month of April. He is suffering from knee discomfort, which keeps him unavailable for this league encounter.

Similarly, Alejandro Balde was also previously expected to return for this game, but has still not been able to do so, and remains on the sidelines, along with Jules Kounde, Robert Lewandowski, Marc Casado, and Marc Bernal.

To cover for all these injury absences and to ensure his starters do not have to play a lot of minutes in this game, Hansi Flick has also called up three youth players for this game, including Noah Darvich, Landry Farre, and Dani Rodriguez. Marc Andre Ter Stegen has also returned to the squad after missing the Inter Milan game.
