FC Barcelona have been dealing with some major injury concerns this season. Despite it still being the early stages of the campaign, it is clear to see that the team’s schedule and demanding calendar is taking its toll on the health of the players.

Already, key players like Raphinha, Joan Garcia, Fermin Lopez, and Gavi are all out injured. Moreover, not too long ago, even Lamine Yamal and Alejandro Balde were sidelined as well.

Unfortunately, Yamal’s injury seems to have resurfaced, and he is now expected to be sidelined again. As per Barça’s latest official statement, the 18-year-old Spanish winger’s discomfort in the pubic area has resurfaced now.

Consequently, he is now set to be out for the upcoming game against Sevilla as well. To be precise, the club estimates that the player will likely be sidelined for somewhere between two to three weeks, and that will also cover the duration of the upcoming international break.

This is bad news for Barcelona, as they need to ensure victory in the upcoming game against Sevilla to stay on top of the La Liga table. At the moment, with both Yamal and Raphinha injured, the options in attack are rather limited for Hansi Flick.
