As was the case last season, the start of this season has also seen several FC Barcelona players suffer from physical problems. One player who has raised some significant concerns at the Catalan club because of his physical condition is the midfielder Gavi, who returned from a long-term injury only in the middle of the last season.

A few days ago, the Spaniard developed problems in his knee, and initially, his progress in recovery was very slow. However, according to Diario AS, there has been a radically positive turnaround in this situation, as he is no longer feeling any discomfort in his knee, and the possibility of undergoing surgery is now fading.

Thus, he can return to training and, ultimately, to the field soon. Still, despite this positive turn of affairs, the locker room remains highly cautious with the player, as they understand that these types of problems can turn trickier and need to be assessed on a day-to-day basis.

This is the first positive feeling felt by the player since he got injured around three weeks ago, and hopefully, things will now continue to improve and Gavi will return to play for Barcelona as soon as possible, possibly for the UCL tie against Paris Saint-Germain.
