A lot of care and attention to detail went into how Barcelona operated in this summer transfer window. For the Catalan club, it was essential to only pursue the signings of players who were considered extremely necessary. However, there is one anomaly in that regard for Barcelona.

The arrival of 19-year-old Swedish talent Roony Bardghji on a permanent transfer was a welcome one, but one that was still a little strange. Instead of being a target that was actively pursued from the very beginning, the Swede was more of an irresistible market opportunity.

Since then, he has managed to impress Hansi Flick enough to be included in the squad for the ongoing preseason tour in Asia. Since arriving in Japan, he has also made sure to get a surreal debut against Vissel Kobe and even managed to score a brilliant goal during the match.

However, it seems that Bardghji has been making an impression even away from the pitch as well. According to the latest report by SPORT, the 19-year-old Swedish winger’s positive attitude and personality has really won over the locker room, and he is already doing his best to make everyone comfortable around him as well.

From his positivity to his eagerness to learn and also his sense of humour, there are a lot of things going right for Roony Bardghji. His physical planning and conditioning is already quite commendable, but his ability to socialise with his teammates and bond with them is special in its own way.

Special connections at Barcelona

For now, it is true that Bardghji still has a language barrier in terms of communicating with his teammates, who primarily speak Spanish. As such, he is often seen hanging around and speaking with the likes of Robert Lewandowski, Wojciech Szczesny, Frenkie de Jong, and Jules Kounde, as they all speak English, and it is easier to communicate with him.

Another player who seems to have taken a liking to Bardghji is none other than Marc Casado. The Spaniard already seems to be welcoming him with open arms, and he has reportedly been a guiding figure for him so far.
