FC Barcelona will have to make some sales in the upcoming summer transfer window if they want to register the new players that they are looking to incorporate into their team ahead of the 2025-26 season.

The La Liga President, Javier Tebas, made this clear in his recent comments, and the Blaugrana club is already looking for suitors for some of their players who are not going to be a part of Hansi Flick’s plans for the next season or for their long-term project.

Barcelona’s plans for Pablo Torre

In this context, there are several players who are likely to leave Barcelona in the coming months, including Ansu Fati, Inaki Pena, and Pau Victor. Another player in this category is the midfielder Pablo Torre, as he himself wants to leave in search of more prominence, while Barcelona are also looking to make some money with this asset.

The playmaker is currently fully focused on the UEFA European U-21 Championship, a competition he is playing as part of the Spanish team. The player will start looking for the best possible club for him once this competition is over. In such a context, SPORT has provided an overview of the plans Barcelona have for him.

The Catalans definitely want to make money, but they also want to keep some control over Torre’s future, and might keep options like a buy-back option if they end up selling him.

Similarly, they can also keep a percentage of any future fee paid for him, to ensure they can benefit if the midfielder ends up being a top-class player.

U-23 Championship can help increase his value

The Spaniard was unable to get his desired minutes at Barcelona after his loan stint at Girona, and now he is in search of a club that trusts his abilities. Several clubs in La Liga have already shown an interest in him, and Barcelona are confident his demand in the market will only increase with this U-21 Championship.

For now, Real Betis, Real Sociedad, Valencia, Sevilla, Mallorca, and Celta Vigo have all been following Pablo Torre, but it remains to be seen on what terms he will leave the Blaugrana club.
