The previous season is now behind FC Barcelona, and they ended the campaign on a high note. While the UEFA Champions League could not be secured, La Blaugrana still ended the season with three major titles. By securing a domestic treble, Barcelona had one of their strongest campaigns in recent years.

Now, the objective is to focus on the upcoming season instead. While the players are currently on vacation, they are expected to return to training soon under the orders of Hansi Flick. Moreover, they will likely be joined by Joan Garcia, Barça’s latest signing.

To further add to the excitement of the new campaign, key dates and fixtures have already been revealed across various competitions and plans for the club. As highlighted by Mundo Deportivo, the Barcelona players are expected to return to the club and undergo their initial medical check-ups on the 13th of July.

The very next day, on the 14th of July, the players are expected to return to training under the orders of Hansi Flick. Soon after, the 24th of July is expected as the date when the squad travels to Japan to start their pre-season tour ahead of the official campaign.

Unlike in recent seasons, Barcelona will not be heading to the United States of America for this year’s preseason tour. Instead, an Asian tour with Japan and South Korea as the hosts is what is planned for the Catalan club this time around.

Matches in Japan and South Korea

Over there, their first fixture will be against Andres Iniesta’s former club Vissel Kobe on the 27th of July. Scheduled to take place at the Noevir Kobe Stadium, it is a stadium with an estimated 30,000 capacity and it will be the only game that the team will play in Japan before flying over to South Korea.

Over there, the team is expected to face off against FC Seoul at the Seoul World Cup Stadium, a venue with a capacity of almost 66,000 fans, and then they will travel to face off against Daegu FC in the same country as well.

Return to the Spotify Camp Nou and La Liga

After that, the squad is expected to return to Spain and prepare for the Joan Gamper Trophy. As of right now, the expected date for the fixture is the 10th of August, and it will also mark the team’s long-awaited return to the new Spotify Camp Nou.

Almost seven days later, the first match for Barcelona in La Liga is scheduled to take place on the 17th of August against RCD Mallorca away from home. Another notable date to keep in mind is the 14th of September, since Barcelona is expected to make their official return to the Spotify Camp Nou then against Valencia in La Liga.

Champions League dates for Barcelona

Lastly, another important date to keep in mind would be the period between the 16th and 18th of September, on which Barcelona will likely take part in the first game of their UEFA Champions League campaign this season. With all those dates in mind, there is much to be excited about in Barça’s new season.

Lastly, another important date to keep in mind is the period between the 16th and 18th of September, when Barcelona are expected to kick off their UEFA Champions League campaign. With the squad aiming to build on last season’s progress and Champions League odds beginning to reflect growing optimism around the team, there’s plenty to look forward to in the months ahead.

As for their transfer operations, those will continue to be in the works simultaneously. For now, the Nico Williams operation seems to no longer be accessible with his latest renewal, but the pursuit of Luis Diaz could potentially become the priority transfer operation for Barcelona.
