There is always talk of potential new transfer targets for FC Barcelona and that is to be expected. After all, the club is yet to make their new left-winger signing this summer and it has been delayed quite a lot already. Still, certain Barcelona targets do make more sense than others.

As it stands, even reliable reports have suggested that the club is yet to reach a conclusive decision regarding who to target properly. With that in mind, any suggestions and possible targets still on the market would be a good option for Barcelona to assess.

After all, the club is looking at things that go beyond just the sporting aspect. With a limited budget and a heavily restricted salary cap being imposed when it comes to player registrations, Barcelona are expected to act and execute their decisions with a lot of caution.

Barcelona keeping an eye on Bayern winger

The latest of reports to connect Barcelona to a winger are those that bring up the name of 23-year-old Bryan Zaragoza. According to the latest update provided by SPORT, Barcelona are indeed monitoring the player but not as a primary target.

Unlike Luis Diaz or even Manchester United forward Marcus Rashford, Barcelona do not see Zaragoza as a starter-level signing. Instead, they believe that his arrival would boost the squad’s overall depth and that he could be brought in as an additional signing to add more quality off the bench.

On that note, Zaragoza himself would not be opposed to joining Barcelona. That is because his stint at Bayern Munich has hardly gone as expected and he has struggled to adapt to the German club, with him even being sent on loan last season back to Spain.

A move back to Spain would be welcome

Fortunately, his record and experience in Spain is much more positive. As such, a move to Barcelona could just suit what he wants and that is why the Catalan giants are taking their time with the operation because they know they can afford it and that the player definitely wants to leave Bayern this summer.

However, despite interest being there for other clubs as well, Bayern’s relatively high demands seem to be putting off the suitors. Currently valued at €12 million by Transfermarkt, Bayern Munich want to recover a good chunk of the initial investment they made on the winger when they signed him, but that looks rather unlikely now.

Thus, there could be a real possibility that Barcelona could manage to get him on a loan deal if they play their cards right. For now, however, the club also has some internal issues to figure out and resolve as soon as possible.
